Lovely.

Not only are all of these just lovely, they are even lovelier when grouped together!
1. Poppy Pins from recycled blouses, Foundling
2. Hand-embroidered pillow, Branch
3. "Namo" slingbacks, Chie Mihara
4. "Pas de Trois" ballet-inspired necklace, Dejarnette
5. Deliciously mod print, available here

I spared you the terrible pun about shoes & soulmates--consider yourselves lucky. But really, Chie Mihara is amazing.

Haunted

Yes I know there are lots of found items sites all over the place - pictures, lists, notes, and whatnot. But there's something extra haunting about the pictures over at Look At Me. I'm simply fascinated. Its tempting to come up with my own backstories for each of these shots.

Sweet & simple.

Yes, I have a well-documented weakness for roses in jewelry. Add slightly oxidized sterling silver & a ball chain, and it's a miracle I was able to contain myself long enough to finish this post. Find this at My Sunset Road.

Effortless

This necklace from Pieces of a Girl is so effortlessly stylish. It may even make me rethink my only-silver-jewelry policy.

Snicker

I couldn't resist reading through all of ScotiaMade's cards, They are so delightfully wrong.

Bird candy

The sweetness of this wreath by ConstantGatherer is overpowering. How I wish I could spend my house money on this instead of things like tools and electrical outlets.

Smartness

Yay for California and its smartness! Lets hope that smartness is ctaching and will sweep through all the states. In honor of weddings for all, I had to post this beautiful feather centerpiece by EasterYu. Her work is amazing!

I need to just buy me a pair of these earrings so I can stop obsessing about how perfect they are. From Mike and Mary.

Intense

Love the intense colors of this bag. Great shape and eye-burningly deep color palette. Made by thewren.

Pretty mess

I'm inspired by this wonderful tangly necklace by elgatodicemeow. The colors are so summery and the design is striking.

All those colors

These save the date cards by inkielivy are delightful. All flowery and bright! (Of course, I have the pleasure of having a fabulous design genius [ahem Kristen] do all my designery work, but I have a feeling these would even tempt her talented self).

Perfectly adorable

This lamp from Velocity Art and Design is perfectly adorable. Perfectly out of my sticker-shock-new-homeowner budget as well, but still cute enough to admire from afar.

Peacock ladies and deer on rooftops

I love the work of Alex Gross. It all seems straight out of wonderfully convoluted stories and ancient myths. Amazing work!

Perfect simplicity

So finding vintage items on etsy is gonna take more actaul looking and less wandering now. Still, there are some seriously fabulous finds on there now. Like this lace dress from tltvintage. Its simply perfect.

I often find myself coveting pretty delicate things like this mobius scarf from ohmay. I generally convince myself that such pretty dainty things are not meant for my very undainty somewhat hazardous self. However, my thinking is changing. I could really make this work with some long jean trousers and a thin decently-fitted long sleeve tshirt. It could dress up a lot of outfits and it seems so versatile. Hmmm...

Quilted finery

After seeing this pretty bronze satin dress, I'm thinking more dresses should include some quilting in them. Its just adds such a pretty and unexpected touch. From Dorothea's Vintage Closet.

Pseudo

Oh! I adore these "pseudo cameos" from Vadjutka. So pretty and unusual. I especially like the topstitching and the tulle trim on the first one.

Oh my stars.

Delicate, romantic, amazing. I adore this necklace from Mesoputina. My wardrobe is lacking in outfits that would go with this, but that doesn't stop me from coveting it.

Birds and butterflies

I really like this wallpaper from Monsoon. It kind of reminds me of the pretty Audubon wallpaper in my grandparents old house. So pretty pretty!

The little zoo.

"The Little Zoo" is a lovely collection from Elizabeth Soule, featuring saturated Polaroids of miniature animals. Strange and wonderful. Check out her website for more of her work, and her Etsy shop to purchase prints and notecards.

May queen

Bijoutiful has lots of pretty jewelry in her shop. This ring is the one I'm drawn to the most. Such a pretty little statement.

Egads

How awesome is this photo by FriendlyMade? Things like this make me so happy.

Poppies!

Something about poppies seems so exclamation point worthy. Especially on an eye-catcher like this. Find this pretty dress at AntiqueDress.

Orangely fun

I love the color orange. Simply love it. This dress from Vintageous is such a fun shape and color.

Couch crushing

Now and then I like to taunt myself by hunting down lust-worthy furniture on ebay. I find things that are so far away so even if I could afford them, shipping would kill me. This couch is one of those finds.

Dainty china and wildlife

David Kroll's paintings mix nature and fine china in such a charming and unexpected way.

Wishing for the cleverness of crows

One of the things I'm excited about with the whole buying-a-house thing is the opportunity to use a clothesline. These pins are so clever. Made by SabreToothfairy - don't you just love that shop name!

Sweet with an edge

The colors and shape of these shoes say "Springtime!" but the metal heels mutter "Badass." I love the combination. Find them at Good Grace.

Ethereal.

Photography by Elle Moss is just so, so lovely. She has a most elegant style and very interesting subjects as well.
